Create a map
Inviting students to complete their own maps of experience needs to be an open ended activity where they can bring their creative interpretation of 'being involved' to these very subjective maps.
They need access to basic materials such as:
- sheets of paper
- pens/pencils
- chalks can be a valuable source of colour and they are easy to mix and blend
- time to genuinely reflect on their learning - this is not a five minute plenary at the end a lesson, but needs to be dedicated time to reflect
